Green tea keeps a lid on sugar levels
Drinking green tea with breakfast could help control blood sugar levels, researchers claim.
American scientists found that an antioxidant, EGCG, in green tea can help reduce sugar spikes in mice. When the rodents were given EGCG along with corn starch there was a significant reduction in increase in their blood sugar levels.
