Event gets
to the point

A CONFERENCE aimed at preventing health workers acquiring bloodborne infections through sharps injuries is to take place in the Capital.

The event, organised by Prevention of Occupational Infections, Treatment and Reporting Strategies (Pointers), will be held at the Assembly Rooms, on December 6 and 7.

The group aims to provide information on the elimination and prevention of exposure of health workers to bloodborne viruses and other infections, as well as raising awareness of dangers in an aim to improve management of risks.
