Call to help women with birth phobia

MORE needs to be done to help women who have a morbid dread of childbirth, a condition that affects up to one in ten women, an expert has warned.

Speaking at the Royal College of Midwives conference in Brighton, midwife counsellor Zara Chamberlain said there should be an expert in the field at each hospital to help women during their pregnancies.
