£110m emergency unit gets off ground
WORK began yesterday on a major new emergency centre at one of Scotland's busiest acute hospitals.
The 110 million emergency care centre at the Foresterhill hospital complex in Aberdeen is being built next to the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital and the existing Royal Infirmary accident and emergency department.
