Health bosses vow ME action

A REPORT which criticised services for people with ME in the Lothians will help shape an improved picture for the future, health chiefs have said.

The Believe in ME report, which was written with the help of a local charity, said for years the condition had been neglected and was in dire need of improvement.

The health board's director of strategic planning and modernisation Jackie Sansbury said: "The survey results have helped identify what patients with ME in Lothian need in terms of better support."
