Headbutting cow helped save my life

A WOMAN has told how being headbutted in the stomach by a cow helped saved her life when she was diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah Kerr, 32, was out in a field and suffering from what she thought was severe indigestion when she suffered the unexpected blow to the stomach, it was reported today.

She subsequently ended up in hospital for treatment to the injury where it was discovered the stomach pain she had previously experienced was cervical cancer.

The agricultural officer from Linlithgow was able to get treatment just in time before the cancer spread beyond control.

She reportedly said: "If it hadn't been for that accident with the cow I don't know what would have happened."
