Hard-Fi rock racism in the Capital

INDIE band Hard-Fi are to play in Edinburgh as part of a Rock Against Racism tour.

The popular group, who had a top ten hit with Hard to Beat and a number one album, will launch the Scottish Government campaign, which aims to tackle racist attitudes. The band will play at the city's Liquid Room on Monday, February 25.

Frontman Richard Archer said: "Although we don't see ourselves as a political band, if you talk about 'real life' things in your lyrics, things you believe in, then that's intrinsically linked to politics.

"We all feel very strongly that racism needs to be tackled head-on and we're delighted to be involved with Rock Against Racism."
