Happy ending for Aladdin pantomime

A CHILDREN'S pantomime that had been threatened with police action yesterday won the go-ahead after a safety check.

Aberdeen City Council had said the village hall in Culter needed a theatre licence for its five performances of Aladdin, starting tomorrow.

But after talks it was agreed the show could go ahead if a fire-safety inspection found no problems.
