Halloween Recipes: Bat wings | Ghoul Balls
Bat wings
Ingredients
1 packet chicken winglets
Fajita spices
Salt and pepper
Vegetable oil
Dip ingredients:
Guacamole
Crme fraiche
Method:
Place chicken winglets in a bowl, sprinkle with spice mix and leave for two hours. Take a baking tray and lightly oil. Arrange winglets on baking tray, season and place in an oven at 200C or gas mark 7 for 10-15 minutes. Arrange on a novelty plate with dips, and serve.
Ghoul Balls
Ingredients:
300g crushed ginger biscuits
15g cocoa powder
150g icing sugar
150g chopped nuts
90g golden syrup
120g white chocolate, melted
60g desiccated coconut, toasted
Method:
Put all ingredients for balls into a bowl and mix by hand. Divide into 12 portions and roll into ball. Roll in melted white chocolate and then roll in toasted coconut. Put into fridge to set. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
