Gunman opens fire in station at rush hour
Mexico: At least one person has been killed after a man opened fire inside a subway train during the rush hour.
Witnesses told a local radio station that the gunman got on the subway at the Balderas station and began shooting. Mexico City Mayor Marcelo Ebrard said at least one passenger died.
Alabama: A fan of former US vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is paying $63,500 to have dinner with her. Cathy Maples, of Huntsville, Alabama, won the dinner in an internet charity auction.
