Grill stands the heat to scoop top seafood restaurant prize
THE Grill at Dakota Forth Bridge has been named the Best Seafood Restaurant in Scotland.
The restaurant was awarded the title at The Scottish Restaurant Awards 2009 at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
The Grill, led by chef partner Roy Brett, has attributed the award win to its dedication to the seasons and good relationships with local fishermen and their merchants.
The restaurant, which launched in March 2007, beat fierce competition from restaurants including The Creel in Dunbar and The Tolbooth in Stonehaven to win the prestigious award.
Mr Brett said: "It's great news for Dakota Forth Bridge."
He added: "We are really proud."
