Green space up for debate
AN online consultation has been launched to help decide the future of one of the city’s largest green spaces.
A new website features videos promoting ten ideas for the future of Leith Links.
The council approached the environmental organisation Greener Leith about promoting a survey and it was decided to use a new website instead of sending out bulky documents or posting on little-known council web pages.
The films – which can be found at leithask.org – show a range of projects from tennis courts to wildlife reserves.
Leithers have been asked to vote for their top three and these will be considered by the council as priorities for a Leith Links masterplan.
