Grampian targets bikers over safety

GRAMPIAN Police has begun a road safety offensive involving motorcyclists in the area following an upsurge in serious accidents involving bikers in recent months.

The force yesterday revealed that there have been 72 serious collisions involving bikers already this year, compared with 59 for the whole of 2011.
