Got designs on £20k easel?
AN EASEL used by the influential American architect Frank Lloyd Wright will be sold in the Capital.
Georgian Antiques, of Pattison Street, Leith, acquired the easel – valued at 20,000 – through a British collector who purchased it during the 1980s.
It was originally from Lloyd Wright's Malibu home and was presented by Lloyd Wright to publisher Dr Ernst Wasmuth.
John Dixon, of Georgian Antiques, said: "The easel was not designed by Lloyd Wright, but it was used by him."
