Golden shroud of ancient skeleton

Greek archaeologists have found an ancient skeleton covered with gold foil in a grave on Crete, officials said yesterday.

More than 3,000 pieces of gold foil, thought to have been sewn onto a robe or shroud, were found in the 7th century BC twin grave near the ancient town of Eleutherna.
