Girl, 5, injured as skylight breaks during Fringe show
A FIVE-year-old girl is reported to have been taken to hospital after being covered in glass when a skylight broke during a Edinburgh Fringe show.
The girl was said to have been injured during a performance of the Little Mermaid at the C+3 Venue on Chambers Street just after noon.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a crash and the girl screaming. A Scottish Ambulance spokesman said a young child had been taken to the Sick Kids Hospital.
