Girl treated at house blaze
A CHILD was treated for smoke inhalation after a blaze broke out at a house.
Crews were called to the property on Stewart Drive, Whitburn, at around 7pm yesterday.
The girl, thought to be about eight, was checked over by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
A 56-year-old man was also treated by paramedics when a pan of food caught fire in a property in Ormiston Crescent East, Tranent, just before 8:35pm.
Firefighters also removed an elderly man from a house in the Capital's Baillie Grove at 12:40am today following a pan fire.
Shortly afterwards, firefighters extinguished a chip pan fire in a first-floor flat on Niddrie House Square.
