All you need is Love as hero boss steps between sticks

A LATE sending off saw Bathgate manager Graeme Love forced to go in goal, where an outstanding save in the dying minutes saved his side a point.

Tayport, who are fighting for survival, dominated the first half with Ronnie Kenneth and Robbie Henderson pushing hard for an opener.

Kenneth had a strong penalty claim turned down before being subbed for Lee Bryce. Tayport then hit the base of the post when James Russell tried his luck from 20 yards.

Bathgate, though, were holding firm at the back although rarely threatened the home defence. Bryce turned out to be a real threat to the visiting defence. He could have turned the game Tayport's way when, with ten minutes to go, he forced Bathgate keeper Marc Lunn into handling the ball outside his area.

Lunn was sent off and with no sub keeper on the bench, manager Love went between the sticks, where a superb save gave Bathgate a share of the points.
