Garage owner guilty of groping female workers
A SLEAZY garage owner subjected terrified young girls and women in his employment to daily barrages of gropes and crude comments.
Brian Ross, 61, of Penicuik, Midlothian, faces jail after being found guilty of 17 charges of indecent assault and breach of the peace against four female office workers between 2000 and 2002.
He paid one woman's wages by stuffing money into her bra and pants during months of abuse when he ran Advantage Motors at Bonnyrigg.
Twin 15-year-old sisters had to undergo counselling after working as part-time for Ross.
He was found guilty on all charges at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday, after a seven-day trial.
He will be sentenced next month after background reports.
