Gaelic festival to be held in islands
ALEX MacDonald, convener of Western Isles Council, has been elected to head a committee to organise the Royal National Mod in the islands in 2011.
Mod nan Eilean Siar is the fifth time the annual Gaelic festival has been held in the Western Isles. The last was in 2005.
