Fundraising family back on the road
A FUNDRAISING family is hitting the road again to raise money for charity.
Tracy Rendall and her family, from Craigentinny, are part of a team cycling 51 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh on September 12 to raise money for the Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children (SNAC).
Mrs Rendall said: "This is a very important cause to me.
"Since Jos, my daughter, was diagnosed with arthritis when she was only one, I have become more and more aware of this horrible disease which causes joints to swell up, become painful and lose function.
"There are over 800 children in Scotland with arthritis and before SNAC there was no other charity in Scotland specifically catering for children with the condition.
"Now they have a means to reach other affected families and the chance to network, learn more and not feel alone."
