Fugitive facing life for murder
A MAN who escaped justice for more than three years after jumping bail and fleeing abroad is facing a life sentence for murdering his partner at their Edinburgh home.
Scott Storey, 43, became a fugitive in the Far East when he was bailed to await trial for stabbing Bridget Cameron, 35, a mother of four.
He was traced to Thailand and extradited. Yesterday, he appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh and admitted the killing in April 2004.
Lord Kinclaven continued the case for background reports.
