Fresh work to link cities
WORK is continuing to create links between Edinburgh and the city that is said to be China's "new Shanghai".
Tianjin is one of six cities that city leaders will target for future inward investment.
Annalee Sutherland, international officer with the city council, said: "We've been working closely with the Chinese Consulate, SDI, the China Britain Business Council, Scottish China Chamber of Commerce and Scottish-based business already operating in China."
The Capital's relationship with China is expected to be further strengthened by the arrival of the giant pandas.
