Fraser given time to settle civil action

A CIVIL damages action, in which the convicted murderer Nat Fraser is being sued by his former business partner, was continued yesterday at Elgin Sheriff Court until 18 January for a possible settlement in the case.

Fraser, who was convicted in 2003 of murdering his wife Arlene, is being sued for more than 125,000 by Ian "Pedro" Taylor, with whom he once ran a fruit and vegetable business in Moray.
