Forty years of racism battle
SUMMER schools aimed at discouraging discrimination and racism among young women in the Capital are celebrating their 40th anniversary.
The YWCA Roundabout has been running activities for girls in Edinburgh since 1968.
There are 100 places available in this year's school, for children aged five to those who have just completed P7, and young women only aged 12-16.
Volunteers with a huge range of skills, experiences and backgrounds are recruited to assist in creating the programme with the children and young people.
