Forth Ports recruits new finance boss
PORTS and property group Forth Ports has appointed a new finance chief.
Stuart Paterson, who resigned as chief financial officer at Johnston Press earlier this week, will succeed Wilson Murray - finance director for Forth for the last 18 years. Mr Murray joined Forth Ports Authority in 1986 and helped steer the group through its conversion to a plc.
Chief executive Charles Hammond said: "We are delighted to be able to recruit someone of Stuart's energy, experience and ability."
Forth Ports turned down a 1400p-a-share bid from a shareholder-backed consortium earlier this year.
