Foreigners go dutch on floating hotel
The former prison ship that houses foreign workers employed at Lindsey Oil Refinery lies moored at Grimsby Docks yesterday.
For the third day in a row, several hundred people were involved in demonstrations at the refinery as they protested about jobs being given to foreign workers.
Across Scotland, 2,500 workers joined the wildcat strike in support of the English workers who walked out on Wednesday over the decision to bring in hundreds of Italian and Portuguese contractors to work on a new 200m plant at the refinery in North Killingholme, North Lincolnshire.
