TRACEY EMIN: 20 YEARS National Gallery of Modern Art (0131-624 6200), until November 9

No other contemporary artist made us ponder the 'is it art?' question quite like Emin. Her first major UK retrospective is the talk of the town, and among the works on display is her infamous unmade bed and Come Unto Me (right).

Scottish tapestry studios Dovecot have two exhibitions. Influential Voices features artists who have worked with Dovecot over the past 50 years, including Eduardo Paolozzi and David Hockney, while Raising the Bar displays new metalworks from designers around the world.
