Football star's wife attacked by robbers
Greater Manchester: The wife of Premier League footballer Roque Santa Cruz had a knife held to her throat by robbers who stole thousands of pounds worth of jewellery.
The Blackburn Rovers striker's wife, Giselle, 24, was with their two young children and another man at the house in Bowdon when three men burst in at 6pm on Saturday.
• Kent: A woman is under arrest in hospital after a child's body was discovered at a house near Dartford. The boy is believed to be about 12.
