Flush move for chapel

TRUSTEES at Rosslyn Chapel have applied to build a temporary toilet block at the site to help cope with its soaring visitor numbers.

The block would be built in the chapel's car park under plans submitted to Midlothian Council. Visitor numbers have increased from 30,000 a year in 2000 to 120,000 in 2006, after the chapel featured in the bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code.
