Flu has virtually gone in Lothian
THIS winter's round of flu has virtually disappeared from the Lothians, latest figures have shown.
Statistics released from Health Protection Scotland showed that around 30 people were struck by flu-like illnesses in the last week, the lowest for some time.
A widespread vaccination programme among the elderly and those at risk, has been hailed a success by NHS chiefs.
