Fire crews fight blaze at Perthshire recycling centre

A BLAZE at a recycling centre in Perth is being tackled by 60 firefighters.
A number of nearby premises have been evacuated, but no injuries have been reported police said.
Fire crews were called to the scene at Wyllie Recycling Limited on Inveralmond industrial estate in Perth at around 7.40 this morning.
It is understood that general waste, paper and cardboard caught alight in the yard’s premises.
Tayside Fire and Rescue said ten fire engines were at the scene along with a command and support unit and an aerial ladder platform.
Tayside Police have closed some roads in the area due to the blaze, which has created a lot of smoke.
A police spokesman said: “Inquiries into the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident will be undertaken in due course but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.”
