Fine dining on school menu
MULTI-AWARD-WINNING chef Albert Roux brought fine dining to a school canteen last night to raise funds for charity.
Mr Roux helped pupils at Charleston Academy in Inverness cook a gala dinner for 100 paying parents. Mr Roux, who opened his first Scottish restaurant, Chez Roux at Rocpool Reserve, in Inverness earlier this year, has worked with pupils at Charleston Academy under the Adopt A School scheme, a charity that teaches children how to taste and appreciate "real" food.
Rocpool Reserve donated ingredients for the dinner and Mr Roux donated the wine.
All proceeds will go to play therapists at Raigmore Hospital children's ward in Inverness.
