Festival's war heroes tribute
A POIGNANT tribute to Leithers who died during the First World War will take place as part of this year's Leith Festival.
Recently unveiled rolls of honour, which have been in storage since the 1920s, will play their part at the event's launch.
A ceremony will take place tomorrow at which the rolls – once housed in the War Memorial Hospital – will be re-dedicated.
A council wreath will be laid by local councillor Rob Munn and former Leith Festival Association chairwoman Mary Moriarty.
