BSM bought by AA after collapse

British School of Motoring (BSM) fell into administration yesterday and was acquired by Acromas, the private equity owner of the AA. Administrators at PricewaterhouseCoopers assured BSM pupils and instructors that the firm was running on a "business as usual" basis.

BSM employs 135 at the head office in Bristol, and a further 145 in 71 centres across the UK providing support to franchised instructors. All current driver franchise agreements and employees will transfer to the new company.
