Fancy dress to impress
A HAIL of colour is expected in Musselburgh town centre this Friday as the burgh hosts its annual fancy dress parade.
Scores of residents sporting unusual costumes will gather at Ashgrove at 6.15pm as judges run the rule over the motley crew before they set off on a march through town from 7pm.
They will follow a route from Pinkie Road, down Newbigging to High Street, New Stone Bridge, Bridge Street to Ship Inn, into Harbour Road, culminating at Fisherrow Links where participants will be invited to post-parade party The Event in the Tent.
