Families' July 7 tribute book comes to the Capital
A BOOK of tributes created in memory of those murdered in the July 7 bombings is to come to Edinburgh.
The book, created by the victims' families, is to go on tour of Scotland, also visiting Dumfries, Aberdeen and Glasgow. Copies were put on display in London following the first anniversary of the terror attacks.
Now the family of 28-year-old Scottish victim Helen Jones has decided to take one north of the Border so that more people will have a chance to see the tributes and remember those who died.
Mother Liz Staffell and stepfather David Gould said: "We hope that as many people as possible will come and read the many moving tributes that have been written by the families in order to keep the memory of their loved ones alive."
Last July's bus and tube bombings killed 38 people. A number of memorials were held last month to mark the first year since the atrocity, including a private ceremony to unveil the Book of Tributes.
