Exhibition on fire festival

THE Beltane Fire Festival programme has started with a major photographic exhibition charting the 20-year history of the event.

The Bongo Club in Holyrood Road is hosting a retrospective on the festival, which takes place a week on Monday.

The event on Calton Hill heralds the start of summer, according to the ancient Celtic calendar. Tickets for this year's Beltane are on sale from The Hub, Castlehill.
