Events plan for Homecoming
NEWBATTLE Abbey College played host to a group of Homecoming enthusiasts keen to develop a programme of events throughout Midlothian.
Organisers mingled with accommodation providers and community groups at the event to mark the Year of Homecoming.
Sandy Macmillan, of Midlothian Council, outlined progress with the Midlothian Homecoming Fund and pointed out that 34,000 was still to be allocated.
Councillor Russell Imrie said: "I call on groups to come forward and develop more events."
