Epilepsy care 'reinvigorated'
EPILEPSY care services in the Lothians have been "reinvigorated" thanks to key appointments and investment, senior NHS staff have said.
Epilepsy nursing staff ensure patients in the area receive top class care from the first seizure all the way through to having surgery, while support, education and training for people living with the condition has also improved drastically, it was claimed.
Epileptologist Dr Susan Duncan said: "Edinburgh's neurology has an international reputation for groundbreaking clinical research and teaching."
