WILDLIFE cameraman and filmmaker Gordon Buchanan has officially opened the Scottish Seabird Centre’s first Puffin Fest.

The programme for the ten-day celebration of one of Scotland’s most popular seabirds features Puffin Express boat trips, guided walks and wildlife photography workshops and talks by wildlife experts – all in addition to the opportunity to zoom in on the live puffin action with the centre’s interactive cameras on the puffin-inhabited islands of Craigleith, Fidra and the Isle of May National Nature Reserve.

Puffin Fest runs from today until May 26 and aims to inspire both locals and visitors alike to learn more about the much-loved birds.
