Turning over new leaves

The Royal Botanic Garden is taking part in an event today which will see hundreds of craft objects given away as gifts.

As part of the Big Craft Give-Away, a variety of decorative porcelain leaves have been created by community groups working with ceramicist Lorna Fraser, who also works part-time in the herbarium at the Botanics.

They will be handed out to visitors at the John Hope Gateway, with each object coming complete with its own life story.
