TV host blasts on to shortlist
TV PRESENTER Richard Hammond has been nominated for a Bafta for his Blast Lab children's show.
The star, who also co-hosts Top Gear, is shortlisted in the TV category at the British Academy Children's Awards, along with Steve Backshall for Deadly 60, CBeebies presenter Andy Day and Phil Gallagher, who fronts Mister Maker.
Disney's High School Musical 3: Senior Year is up against Bolt, Coraline and Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs in the feature film category.
Comedy duo Dick and Dom will host the awards.
