Sheen's car found deep in ravine
A CAR belonging to troubled actor Charlie Sheen has been recovered from the bottom of a cliff near his Los Angeles home.
Police say Sheen reported his car as stolen and there is no evidence anyone was in the vehicle when it went into the ravine on Friday.
A Bentley was later found nearby and three other cars were reportedly broken into in the same area.
Police received a call at around 4am from an alert system fitted to the car, Officer Wendy Reyes said. At about the same time, Sheen, 44, called police to say his Mercedes-Benz had been stolen from his home.
Police and firefighters found the car 300ft to 400ft down a cliff. They searched the area but found nobody in or around the car, Officer Bruce Borihanh said.
Sheen will appear in court tomorrow on domestic violence charges after a Christmas Day disturbance at his home in Aspen, Colorado.
