Royal romance over as Harry and Chelsy split
PRINCE Harry and his girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, have broken up, royal sources said yesterday.
The pair have decided to go their separate ways after what is being described as an amicable parting. It comes just weeks after the couple holidayed together on the island of Mauritius.
It is not known what caused the break-up, but friends of Ms Davy blamed the time the pair had spent apart and Harry's lifestyle.
The report also claimed it was Ms Davy's decision to end the relationship.
The couple had reached the stage in their careers where they could have found themselves spending less time together.
Harry, 24, began intensive training to become an Army Air Corps helicopter pilot last Monday, while Ms Davy, 23, is studying a post-graduate law course at Leeds University.
They began dating in 2004 and broke up for a short period at the end of 2007, but they were soon back together.
