Ramsay picks three top Scots chefs to cook charity dinner
GORDON Ramsay has enlisted three of Scotland's top chefs to cook the meal of a lifetime for a charity dinner in aid of the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
Steven Doherty, who trained at Le Gavroche, Joe Queen, who has cooked for the Queen and Tony Blair, and Willie Pike, who has won more than 60 gold medals for his cooking, will all join forces to create the menu.
Guests at the dinner, which will cost 500 a head, will be able to watch on giant screens as the food is cooked at the Glasgow Science Centre, which is hosting the event.
Ramsay said: "After seeing first hand the fantastic work the charity does, I wanted this year's gala dinner to be supported by some of Scotland's top chefs and supplies to help the SSBA raise funds."
There are 250 tickets available at 500 each, or 5,000 for a table of ten, from the SSBA on 01236 794505 or by e-mailing gordon@ssba.org.uk.
