Jade Goody's wedding: the pictures that will touch millions of viewers

THE reality TV star Jade Goody is seen overcome with emotion on the day of her wedding to Jack Tweed.

These images, taken from the TV show Jade's Wedding, which is due to air tonight, were released yesterday, just hours after Goody, terminally ill with cancer, returned home from hospital to spend her final days with "all those who are close to her".

The former Big Brother contestant, 27, looked frail as she left the Royal Marsden Hospital, in London, accompanied by her 21-year-old husband.

But Max Clifford, her publicist, said Goody was "thrilled" to be back at her home in Upshire, Essex.

He added: "It's where she wants to be. She is just hoping they can keep on top of the pain so she can get as good a quality of life as possible for however long she has got left."

Mr Clifford said the star was looking forward to spending more time with her two sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

"She wants to spend all the time she has got left with Jack and the boys and all those who are close to her," he said.

Goody, who was diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer last summer, left hospital yesterday morning and was taken on the 25-mile journey home in an ambulance.

The star was wheeled out of the ambulance on a stretcher pushed by a medic.

Goody's mother, Jackiey Budden, was at the house when her daughter arrived.

She told reporters that Goody was "pleased" to be home.

In the Living TV programme, Goody is seen beaming as she walks down the aisle, getting the giggles during the ceremony and wiping away tears as the emotion of the day becomes too much.

She also shares kisses with Tweed, with dressings clearly visible on her arm, as well as taking to the dancefloor with her new husband.

Her nuptials were filmed last month. On the day of the wedding, Goody stipulated that everyone must wear dressing gowns for breakfast, which is followed by a massive make-up session.

Goody, who ticks off her bridesmaids for stressing her out over their hairstyles, says she turned down the offer of a wig for her big day.

She says: "I'm not embarrassed of my head so no, I'm not wearing a wig."

She adds: "I had 40 dresses to try on," saying she tried on half of them before picking out the one she wanted.

She says: "I'm excited about wearing it. I haven't got a dress for the evening, neither. I wouldn't have the energy to change and, number two, I wanna get the most out of it, 'cause I'm not gonna wear it again."

The pair exchange wedding presents of jewellery for Goody and a watch for Tweed.

Tweed says of his gift: "It's a bit expensive and smart for me."

At the reception, a tearful Goody tells guests: "Thank you, everybody that's in here.

"I am so proud to see everybody's faces.

"And hopefully, in a few years' time, I can have a blessing and we'll all be here again so everyone can cross their fingers and a miracle might happen."
