First airing for Michael Jackson song
THE first new Michael Jackson song to air after his death was unveiled to the world yesterday.
The track, named This Is It, the same name as Jackson's planned 50-date comeback concerts, received its first airplay nearly four months after the 50-year-old singer's death in June.
The soulful balladhas the feel of a typical song from the King of Pop.
Featuring backing vocals from Jackson's brothers, the song was delivered to radio stations amid tight security, so that they could play it from 7:30am.
The track is on the website www.michaeljackson.com and will be made available to buy on a two-disc album, also called This Is It, to be released later this month.
