Defoe death: Man released on bail
A 28-YEAR-OLD man arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with the death of the half-brother of England footballer Jermain Defoe was released on bail, police said yesterday.
The striker was withdrawn from the Tottenham Hotspur side to play Manchester United yesterday after Jade Defoe, 28,
died in hospital on Friday night following an assault in London.
