Connolly tickets sold out
COMEDIAN Billy Connolly's run of shows in Glasgow later this year has sold out.
Six October dates at the SECC, Clyde Auditorium sold out within three hours of going on sale this month, and an additional four dates sold out yesterday within an hour – a total of 30,000 tickets.
This will be the first time in over 30 years that Billy Connolly will have played ten nights in his home city.
SECC head of concert sales Allan Snedden said: "The demand for tickets has been unprecedented. While there will be a lot of disappointed fans out there who were unable to get tickets, this is simply due to his popularity."
